Hi all,
Today we are going to see the telecommunication and its bands.
you might aware of these, and of course you also think why we connect from networks to telecommunication.
yes,
we have to depend both, and we want to also know about the telecommunication and its bands.
We start with,
2.4 GHz ISM band
The 2.4 GHz is the commonly used band used for wireless networking communications.it has 83.% wide and life from 2.40 GHz to 2.4835 GHz ISM band. This uses 2.4 GHz ISM band under the wireless networks 802.11 standard and there are three major networks in 802.11
we will see in detail about 802.11 later in next post
1. 802.11
2. 802.11b
3. 802.11 g
Mostly 2.4 GHz ISM band used in microwave ovens, cordless telephones, monitors and wireless video coamera.
The biggest disadvantage is the potential of tolerance, means it cannot hold the full load in normal conditions.

x-axis spread spectrum signal
y-axis power
sinusoidal frequency - narrow and signal
short curve - spread spectrum signal
Direct Sequence spread spectrum :
DSSS specified in the primary of 802.11 and provides 1 and 2 Mps RF communication using the 2.4 GHz ISM band DSSS was also specified with 802.11b and provides 5.5 and 11 Mbps RF communications using the same 2.4 GHz band. The 80211b 5.5 and 11 Mbps speed are known as high-rate DSSS (HR-DSSS).
802.11b devices are backward compatible with 802.11 DSSS devices. This means that an 802.11b uses transmit DSSS at 1 and 2 Mbps and using HR-DSSS at 5.5 and 11 Mbps. However, 802.11b devices are not capable of transmitting using FHSSS.
Next post we will see about 802.11 networks
Thanking you
